Good bye Summer, hello Autumn, look out, here comes Old Man Winter.  So, get out your boots, and snow shovels, or get your tickets for a trip South.  Not sure if the Snowbirds are the wimps, or the smart ones, you decide.

I made myself a snowball,
As perfect as could be,
I thought I’d keep it as a pet,
And let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas,
And a pillow for it’s head,
Then last night it ran away,
But first – it wet the bed.

The Letterman Christmas Concert
Arcada Theater in St Charles
The concert will start at 5:00PM
We will probably go to dinner before at a restaurant down the street
You can park at the restaurant and walk to the Theater
Tom (708-227-8544) is coordinating this event
The cost $56.00 dollars for the performance, dinner not included, and we will be sitting in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th row of the balcony.
Tom has reserved 36 seats together
Make out a check to Tom, he must have the money by Nov 1st
As with the Bennett Curtis event, first come, first served, so be prompt.
A personal note: I went to the Lettermen concert at Lincoln Way North early September, and it was excellent.  Their voices were good, song selection was a mix of their classics, and current songs.  They also had excellent interaction with the audience.  I thought some of the ladies they serenaded were going to faint.
